A very promising start

It turned quite cold overnight: -2°.

We stayed at the Invercoe caravan and campsite (near the village of Glencoe). With the temperatures falling below freezing the fresh water tap was completely frozen first thing in the morning.

This could have caused us a bit of a problem in terms of being able to fill up the fresh water tanks completely before a few nights “wild” camping. Luckily, a liberal dousing with hot water managed to defrost the situation.

The consolation of such a frosty night was that we were rewarded with the spectacular views in the photographs.
