Our penultimate visit home

Last week we popped back to the Midlands to check on our house and to catch up with some of our friends in the area. All was fine with the house and garden: for which we are indebted to our neighbours for keeping a watchful eye on it over the past 9 months. I can’t believe this is our penultimate visit back before the end of our adventure. On the positive side though there are still two months left to go and we are hoping the weather will be glorious (well, dry at least!).

During the week we caught up with some of our friends and neighbours, and we really appreciated that they we able to see us on “school nights” – particularly as there were a few late evenings!

With only 66 Munros to go we have now planned that our last one, which will be Braeriach near Aviemore, will be climbed on October 1st – more information about that later.
