Shovels to the rescue
Just last week I posted an article about us urgently needing to consider purchasing snow chains for the ‘van. Well, we could really have used them today to get the ‘van out of the Ardgartan site.
Heading back to the Highlands
Today was all about preparing to hit the road again and pick up the wild camping trail. The duties before leaving the Edinburgh Caravan Site were to empty the ‘van waste tanks and to replenish our fresh water supply.
The open road beckons

Northward to Kirkcudbright
Most of today was spent travelling from Snowdonia to Kirkcudbright in the Scottish Borders. However, I completely underestimated the distance we had to travel and hence the time it would take us to complete our journey.
